50 Tickets Remaining for Faces of Hope Event Featuring Drea Kelly

Buy tickets to Faces of Courage, Faces of Hope's annual fundraiser

Boise, ID – March 21, 2024 –Local nonprofit Faces of Hope is bringing Drea Kelly to their Faces of Courage benefit luncheon at Boise Centre on April 9, 2024.

With limited seats left for this empowering fundraiser, individuals are urged to secure their tickets promptly. Drea Kelly, a dancer, choreographer and motivational speaker, has transformed her personal journey of marital abuse to disgraced R&B star R. Kelly into a relentless mission to empower survivors of abuse.

Drea first met R. Kelly as a 19-year-old dancer on his tour, and suffered emotional, sexual, financial, and physical abuse during her 13 year marriage. R. Kelly was jailed in 2022 after being found guilty of sex trafficking, racketeering, and child sexual abuse, though the accusations of sexual misconduct have been overlooked for decades.

Drea Kelly has since become a powerful voice for survivors and was featured in the Emmy-nominated Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly.”

“We are thrilled to have Drea Kelly join us for the 3rd annual Faces of Courage luncheon,” said Paige Dinger, Executive Director at Faces of Hope Foundation. “Her journey of resilience and advocacy aligns perfectly with our mission to empower survivors and create a safer, violence-free community.”

The annual benefit luncheon serves as a cornerstone event for Faces of Hope, providing critical resources and support to survivors of abuse, with around 600 attendees expected. The luncheon also serves as a platform to raise awareness and engage the community in the fight against domestic and sexual violence.

Individual tickets for the benefit luncheon are available to purchase here: https://ow.ly/KXOU50QhvlY. The presenting sponsor is Intermountain Gas Company. A limited number of sponsorships remain for businesses or individuals to display their commitment to local survivors.
